Spring Break Project
Welcome back from Spring Break! It's always a little tough to get back into the swing of things this week, so I'm making it a bit easier for the kids (and me). Students will be creating a Spring Break PowerPoint and presenting to the class. Presentations are required and will occur on Thursday and Friday, April 14th and 15th. Students must complete projects this week, as next week will be moving back to working on individual goals.
Women's History Project
In celebration of Women's History Month, students will be creating a scrapbook demonstrating their ability to research the history and accomplishments of five women. Scrapbooks must contain the following information: when and where the woman was born, date of death (if applicable), brief summary of life ( where she grew up, who inspired her, etc.), and what she accomplished. Students must choose one woman from each of the following categories: sports, politics, science, entertainment, with the fifth being any woman the student would like to choose. All scrapbooks must include images and color to earn full credit. This work will be completed in class. A rubric can be found in the March Lesson Plans folder.
